PORTAL POEM
A 12-week private mentorship for creatives ready to bring the work through.
There is something you keep circling.
An unfinished manuscript.
An art project. A body of work.
A world you are trying to bring into form.
An idea that feels like an altar to your life.
Something that matters enough that you can no longer leave it undone or half-made.
Maybe you are discouraged.
Maybe you have too many ideas and no clear direction.
Maybe the work has gone flat.
Maybe you have changed, but your artistic language has not caught up with you yet.
Maybe you know exactly what you want to make — and still cannot seem to bring it into form.
Portal Poem is where we change that.
For twelve weeks, I work closely with you and the work itself.
We find the living center of the project.
We sharpen its language.
We experiment with new forms, references and tools.
We look at what is blocking the work — creatively, emotionally, symbolically.
We edit.
We refine.
We make decisions.
And we keep moving until the thing becomes real.
THIS IS NOT A COURSE ABOUT CREATIVITY.
It is mentorship inside the act of making.
You bring me the work.
I read it, watch it, look at it, listen to it.
I tell you where it is alive.
Where it loses energy.
Where you are repeating yourself.
Where you need to go further.
Where something wants to be cut, risked, deepened or completely reimagined.
You receive my eye, my feedback, creative direction, references, experiments and support throughout the process.
Because sometimes you do not need another class.
You need someone inside the work with you.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
You have a project you deeply want to finish.
You are sitting on a body of work that needs shape.
You are frustrated with your current creative language.
You have lost momentum or confidence.
Or you can feel the beginnings of something much larger —
a project that might become part of your life’s work.
OVER 12 WEEKS, WE WORK ON THREE THINGS:
THE WORK
We move your project from idea, fragments or unfinished material into form.
YOUR LANGUAGE
We stretch your references, instincts, tools and artistic vocabulary until the work starts sounding and looking more like you.
THE ARTIST
We meet the fear, perfectionism, exposure, resistance and deeper material that inevitably appear when you make something that actually matters.
Because every meaningful work asks something of its maker.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Private 1:1 mentorship sessions.
Direct review and feedback on your work.
Creative direction between sessions.
References, tools, prompts and experiments chosen specifically for your project.
A clear path through the twelve weeks so you keep moving rather than endlessly circling.
And a close creative relationship with someone who is paying attention to both what you are making and what it is asking you to become.
YOU ARRIVE WITH…
The fragments.
The idea.
The confusion.
The half-finished thing.
The work you are almost embarrassed to still be carrying.
The project you keep telling yourself you will return to.
YOU LEAVE WITH…
Something real.
A finished project, a coherent body of work, a clearer creative identity — or the foundations of the larger world you are here to build.
More importantly:
a sharper eye.
a richer language.
more trust in your instincts.
and the experience of having stayed with something long enough to bring it through.
12 WEEKS.
ONE CREATIVE CROSSING.
Bring me the thing you cannot stop thinking about.
Let’s give it form.
